Math & Science Homework

For Math: On Monday, I will be sending home a packet of different math problems for the students to practice on. We try to do a couple in class everyday, so that they will only have about 4-5 problems a night.  The packet is due to me on Friday when Math class starts. Parents, thanks for taking time with your child each night to take an interest in what they are learning. Feel free to show your child how you would work a problem. This will be very helpful. Also, grab a deck of cards and play multiplication war. It's fun and helps students learn their math facts. Taking a trip to the store? Have your child figure up the bill and see how close they come to the correct total at check out time. Thanks for your help!

For Science: Go outside and discover what's around you! Play, look at the moon phases, explore, build something and read. The more you play the smarter you are! Try reading some books about scientific topics. I bet you'll love it!
