Science Rocks

Part of my teaching philosophy is that every child can learn and they can have fun doing it! My students use their brains and their hands to figure out problems. I want each of my students to leave my class loving school. I also want them to challenge themselves to do their best and push the limits of learning. I use several different resources for my science lessons to get the students excited about the topics. I am very excited to get to meet my new class!

2nd Day of School!

I loved meeting all of my classes today! I am looking forward to taking everything we did last year and expanding on it! This weeks topic: Science Safety; Science Tools; Measurement; Models and Experiment Steps.

1st Day Of School 2015-2016

Wow! I have a great group of students in my homeroom class. Today, we sorted all of our supplies out and fixed up our binders. We worked with QR Codes and did a scavenger hunt around the school building. It was great getting to hear about all of the different summer activities and fun that the kids had. I am super excited about the new year!

I love my kids! My girls have learned to be patient and empathetic by having an older brother with muscular dystrophy. Live, Love and Enjoy Each Moment!
