Dear Packsaddle family,

Wow, here we are at the beginning of another school year. I hope the summer break has been refreshing and enjoyable for you and your families.

We are proud of the accomplishments made by students last year and we expect to see even greater strides made this year. With the implementation of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) that replaces the TAKS tests, it will be even more imperative that we guard instructional time closely. The rigor and expectations have dramatically increased, so students are faced with an even greater challenge to perform at state mandated levels. As such, we will continue to do all we can, with all that we have, to provide your child with a top notch education.

Regarding children, if there are any special needs your child has, please communicate that with his/her teacher so that we may have all the necessary tools to meet them where they are and lead them to where they need to be. Together, we can form an alliance that will bring great benefit to the one that we both are so interested in, your child!
